About the Flamingos! Ever since the day we first strung our pink plastic flamingo light ornaments at a community association conference in 1987, Phoenicopterus ruber has had a special place in our hearts. Flamingos are the classic covenant violation. And yet, they remind us not to take this all too seriously. Flamingo ornaments have been to the Virginia Supreme Court. They have crossed over from "tacky" and reinvented themselves as "retro tacky chic". Yes, our lobby is painted flamingo pink, lit by flamingo lamps and decorated with flamingo artwork and carvings. There are hundreds of flamingos in our offices. And, it is true that we decorate the tree every December with flamingo ornaments... one for each member of the flock here. Also true, is that some dear friends adopted a flamingo chick in our name at the National Zoo in 1997 Damingo the Flamingo. Damingo is now an adult, and frankly, difficult to pick out from all of his flamingo friends and family. You won't be able to say that about Segan, Mason & Mason, P.C. Our pursuit of excellence separates us from the crowd every day. Click Damingo and the adoption certificate for larger versions:
